The biggest problem with ideas in today’s startup environment is that the big digital ideas that don’t require ways around regulation have been taken. i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Google. These companies are becoming the Goldman Sachs and Wall Street mafia of tech.
Agreed. What I'm alluding to is that there was a time of greater opportunity for web tech plays. Today's environment is more suited to other technologies reaching for mass adoption like AI or blockchain.
I disagree. To me it looks like most of the big ideas have only been executed decently well. Now there’s an opportunity in re executing on ideas that seem like they are already great. Take @superhuman as an example.
