Startups don't win by having a cleverer fundraising strategy than their competitors. They win by having a better product. So focus on your product, not on optimizing fundraising.

This is true for startups and “companies”- if you think your great product can crazily scale- raise VC $ and be a startup- if not - maybe raise some- and stay being a good company. Too many “startups” of small market niches then end up going under when their product is perfect.
