The anti-nuclear folks have to own up to their terrible, terrible responsibility in any climate change and environmental issues. 40 years of non-progress is on their heads.

Unlikely. For Germany if it were not for the "anti-nuclear folks" those big buerocracies that were operating and monopolizing 1970 nuclear tech would have kept all technical innovation out of the game. The only "innovation" would have been raising the barrier to entry w/ redtape.
