When I type stories that my 6 yo dictates, he always paces, like some magnate dictating a letter to his secretary in an old movie.
He doesn't know about Twitter, except in the most general terms. I.e. sometimes I tell him I put something he said on the internet and 1000 people liked it. He likes that, because it's bigger than his whole school.

This probably explains Tiktok. The amount of likes random people get on that is bigger than headcount of their town. I wonder if they are real likes.

TikTok/Instagram exists due to the attention these creators get from random people online, which they can never get in real life, or in a local circle. Attention nowadays is much more sought after than money/power/status.
