It was an interesting experience, but I decided afterward that I wouldn't want to write everything this way. It made me reluctant to take risks when I knew everything I typed would eventually get seen.

Which is a good counterargument incidentally to people who say "why do you need privacy if you've done nothing wrong?" Anyone who does any kind of creative work has something to hide: their early drafts.

Anonymity as in usernames aren't real names, or anonymity as in there are not even usernames associated with the posts? If the former, it will eventually be penetrated; if the latter, how do you follow accounts?
