Many people look up to you Paul, I've done so for so many years (and still do). It's been hard to reconcile the nuance I've seen from the essays you've written with the narrow view you're describe in these tweets. We cannot shut down new ideas by describing them as "socialism"
I checked before writing this whether she uses the term to describe herself, and apparently she does.
Sure, I guess my point is we shouldn't shut down ideas by saying socialism = bad. Capitalism = good and framing this as a dichotomous choice. The world has seen success of social programs without authoritarianism.
