Some people who complain want to make things better. Others want attention, or just like to complain. How do you tell them apart? The ones who want to make things better engage earnestly with those they disagree with, to try to convert them to their point of view.

I've a problem with this conclusion because using this idea, we could say that many people fighting for political correctness aggressively, trying to get everybody to agree with them are the "good people", which I don't think it's the case.

It seems to me it implies the opposite. In my experience, the sort of people you're talking about are much more likely to quote-tweet than to reply.
