Some people who complain want to make things better. Others want attention, or just like to complain. How do you tell them apart? The ones who want to make things better engage earnestly with those they disagree with, to try to convert them to their point of view.

@Rongwrong_ and I don’t retweet with comment because no one follows me that would respond. Commenting rarely leads to a reaction but it occasionally does. It’s far more common when I disagree strongly, which is rare. -

Yes. Bluecheck and rando quote-tweeting are fundamentally different acts which should be examined separately. For instance, the former often leads to pile-ons and the latter does not. Anyway, I agree with what you said above for bluechecks specifically.
