Looking at what has happened to similar ideas in the past. E.g. to be able to think "PageRank is like the separate condenser." But the most important thing is to have humility in the face of this phenomenon, because it is almost impossibly hard to do.

Thanks. I have also read a suggestion to actually project your revolutionary ideas as deltas of existing ones, so it’s easier for others to be able to relate to at first.
