Why are there so few top startups focused on addressing climate change, and accelerating the transition to a low-carbon world ? Huge problem to solve + tech can make a difference = Silicon Valley should care. What am I missing?
More startups are than seem to be. For example, YC recently funded a startup building autopilots for cargo ships, which if used would have a big impact on emissions. But unless you knew about cargo ships you wouldn't realize that.
