"Be a founder" is for would-be VCs what "Learn to code" is for would-be founders. Advice that's both straightforward and guaranteed to be worth the effort, yet many shrink from because of the work involved.

Yeah, ask Reid Hoffman, Marc Benioff, Michael Seibel and Peter Thiel how they are excellent coders. It’s really crucial to learn to code to be a founder. They would have never made it without that skill. *irony off*

learning to code is just understanding the process and logic behind it and the different paradigms that it involves to be in a tech environment. let’s just see coding as a tool here :)

It can obviously eliminate a few hurdles but if it were really so simple as ‘learning to code’ we’d have a few 10 million or so more startups
