Projects that yield great results often wouldn't seem promising to a rational person. Fortunately some people have a compensating irrationality: they're so interested in the project that they'll work on it for its own sake.

Wonder if I would be starting up if I didnot read your essays. Ignoring the noises would have been difficult otherwise. Request for essay: Essays that can be grasped by a 10 yr old( I have a 5 yr old) and I want her to read your essays before taking on the world.

So I wonder if you can write something for young kids who are so vulnerable to these worldly perception of success and failures, just making them do things they love instead of listening to others (it can be peers/family or anyone else) . Like all those essays but targeted

For example this morning I explained to my 6yo it's important to have a growth mindset and keeping learning through failures. I then proceeded to lose some online videogames to show her to enjoy the process and the learning anyway

Most of what you write for adults, should actually be taught by parents... When you have a good mindset growing up, there is less to unlearn

Hmm yes it will be quite a lot of tweets I guess, my observation is, kids are born tinkerers, providing them the safe or yes space where anything can happen, no good or bad , or right and wrong , just answering the questions and making them enough curious through your actions

Many kids love to figure out things, others like drawing/painting, many are born wanderers, if we can encourage all those qualities , they can be great human beings at later stages

Eg: If somehow the relations between everyday world and physics/chemistry can be introduced to them? Encouraging them to figure out more instead of a teacher/parent trying introducing it in a mechanical way?

Distinguishing fact from opinion, the value of personal interests and curiosity, the nature of innovation and intellectual stagnation, and striking a balance between listening to advice and questioning collective assumptions about the world.
