      Airbnb for example. What rational person would work on such an unpromising idea? But we could see that they were like us in being really into their apparently unpromising idea, so we suspended our disbelief.

      The founders were unusually intense. They were 2/3 designers. They had done the craziest stuff to make money that I'd heard of. They had worked on the company for an unusually long time with no growth. They seemed physically run down.
