That is a stretch, even for Twitter, turning the idea that you can ignore opinions about nature vs nurture from people who don't know children into the idea that you can ignore poor people's opinions about wealth. Come on...

Yes. Reading it now it's stretched. I was feeling heated when I wrote it. I wrote it because I disagree so strongly with what OP said. If we all had an equal opportunity to create wealth then his point would have more validity, but we don't live in that world.

IMO, that view would lead to bad policy bc it's grounded in the belief of a meritocracy which isn't reality. Been sad this week reading what my fav tech people say on Twitter after
