From an impact perspective there's no difference between being an "ironic" bigot and actually being a bigot except in the former you get to lie to yourself and your fans that you aren't one.

it's all too easy to make LULZ about things that didn't affect you, but had a profound effect on other humans in recent history e.g. the holocaust. There's a reason we have a moral stigma on this kind of stuff. Ignorance is not an excuse.
