Also for this data point maybe “post war” is a key aspect we can’t discount and therefore can’t even compare to now. Best case: It have accounted for better Government growth mentality at that time, in those conditions. What’s happening now is just ludicrous.

There's a fairly direct relationship between the cuts to social programs started in the 1980's and the decline in overall economic growth. It's a simple reality that more resources for the poor will have a greater impact economically than the wealthy because the poor spend it ;)
