One thing I refute with your work is the idea that the evolution of tech marches unabated. It’s unclear if the future is better than what we have but we just accept it.
Believing the evolution of technology is mostly inevitable doesn't mean believing the future has to be better. I don't think that.
The evolution of tech, though, does, as we allow it, make the future progressively more prosperous. It's our choice whether we let that drive achievement and human well-being and happiness, or envy and division.

If it’s not improvement, why bother? If not improvement, why don’t you at least try to stop it or disincentivize it?
