I think some people are just primed to go off as well, like a certain author of books about risks & deadlifts, but your point is probably true of people for whom that anger & incoherence is uncharacteristic.

One problem with Paul’s heuristic might be that anger/outrage can cloud judgment and reasoning, rendering the angry unable to articulate something coherently regardless of whether or not a coherent critique actually exists
