I didn't realize this before Twitter, but it's a good sign when the response to something you write is angry and incoherent. It means you wrote something novel enough to make people mad, and correct enough that you didn't leave room for actual refutation.
I don't think you should aim for anger though. Aim for the truth, and don't worry if you get anger as a result.

Depends on the kind of truth. I'm not going to tell a 5 year old that her dog is not in dog heaven. But if I see a common mistake startup founders make, for example, I need to warn them about it.
