I have a good monitor and yet when I print things out and read them on paper, I always discover flaws I'd overlooked on the screen. This happens with both writing and code. Is paper better, or merely different?

Color on paper is done by adding ink to go to black, color on screen by adding light to go to white - makes a big difference

Agreed! Pen and papper and whiteboards > any texteditor (including Emacs). Too bad I cannot find enough wallspace for my 3 whiteboards just yet.
