I miserably failed at that :( And the Internet doesn't help. And she's read all her books. I have a situation.
Try some used bookshops. There are a lot of old children's books that are great but little known, and many are out of print.

Try the library!!! Libraries do this so well! Hundreds of books and lots of advice. They can usually get hold of books no longer in print easily too. My local library is a really fun but peaceful place.
