What do you mean exactly?
I would be so excited to read an investor update where "we've achieved product-market fit" was followed by "now we're going to put our heads down and just grow" instead of "now we're going to spend months trying to raise money."

Makes sense that you want to see that - but in general that isn't their best bet for near-term financial success, so unless you as investors are creating incentives for that, why would they?

Would it really take months? We were hoping bootstrapping to PMF would lubricate the investment process by massively de-risking the venture. In our case, raising after the fact would be to eliminate technical debt and scale rapidly. Is this a bad strategy?
