One of the best things you can be for your kids is an audience. Which doesn't mean being uncritically approving. That doesn't fool kids over 2. It means caring about what they care about.

Agreed. I am slowly but surely turning into a slime expert.
This slime thing is a thing. Our 6 yo asked for a slime kit for Christmas, I think because he was impressed by slimes made by our friends' daughter during the summer.

Yup! My daughter (12) has a slime store and is giving paid workshops. It’s incredible to watch her entrepreneurial spirit emerge.
