You can make money by taxing Google heavily, or by growing your own Googles, but probably not both.

Is a space program built to spec for someone who made money in crypto currency superior to a well funded scientific agency? Jeff Bezos isn't qualified to do healthcare, he's just able to because of a big pile of money. Big piles of money aren't indicators of general brilliance.
He wasn't qualified to start AWS either, and he seems to have done pretty well.

Point taken. When a problem lacks a profit motive, a CEO and a board isn't the right solution. Developing the internet, NASA, the highway system or public education takes a well funded government and without it there could be no Amazon or SpaceX. We aren't yet post-government.
