That’s not what it means. It’s not “work 24/7”, it’s “don’t dream about it, do it”. It’s the concept of practice makes perfect. Of not being afraid to work despite your skill level. Did you even read the article, or did you just skim the titles?

I don't think anyone shirks this advice when it comes to their own ambitions in life. It's when "Work, Work, Work," becomes the primary mantra of office that you have a problem.

I think the difference is whether you celebrate "work hard" as a means in itself, or whether you celebrate building awesome stuff. Lately, we've seen too much of the former and too little of the latter.
