Prediction: There will be an immune response to smartphone addiction, driven by the people currently in their late teens and early 20s.

Companies like Apple and Facebook won't be bold or flexible enough to lead this. It will be a case of "if the people lead, the leaders will follow." Probably yielding some new leaders in the process.

I fully agree It may not seem like that now, but I do believe so too. The most young people understand they rely too much on something almost totalitarian in nature, they will try to oppose it. It’s a kind of revolution for them

I play a game. When the first drinks are served at restaurants the phones get put away. I also have no screen sunday. I’m 28. Your prediction articulates the trend in my life..

You’re looking at through the lens of someone our age. I would have thought there’d be the same response to tattoos. Phones and social media postings are an extension of their voice and personalities now. It’s akin to our parents talking about tv, which they didn’t grow up with.

few ideas for would be Leaders 1. develop an open source 'simple to use' thin UI Layer 'Parental control App' on top of 'Apple Screen Time' API 2. Pick a small state like New Hampshire 3. evangelize communities to force Apple to OPEN this API to any apphttps://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2018/08/23/we-tested-apples-new-screen-time-parental-controls-first-came-tears-then-frustration/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.d6cccfdd022e …
