Flights are good for speculative projects. I never expect to get anything done on a plane, so I try things that probably won't work, and sometimes they do.

I’m super productive on planes, no idea why but it’s my zone. I use the time to hone abstract ideas and organize thoughts. I think I was even more productive before Wifi was a thing on planes. Less destractions, meditative time for the mind to wander and come up with fresh ideas.

It's all about distractions. It's not just their absence - it's *knowing* you won't have anything interrupting you. Even if the ergonomics of cramped airplane seats are terrible, and I miss my 3 monitors, I get a lot of shit done, always, 100% of the time, when flying.

We should make a show called YYZ -> SFO. Take Toronto’s best and put them on a plane to SFO. 5 hour flight. When they land they demo their product. If you like it, their trip is paid for by YC, if not, they front the bill. And you can invest of course :)
