I wonder what the first ancient human to discover how to tame and control fire went through. We don’t know his or her name today, but this was a monumental achievement. Taking a destructive and terrifying force and harnessing it for useful purposes - hard to fathom the bravery
I suspect the process was so gradual that that it would be hard to pick out such a person.
