        Great story. Being somewhat similar, manual labor does have one big benefit vs a desk job. Much more moving, excercise during the day vs sitting. I miss moving, running all day. Now run 3.5 miles a day instead.

        Degrees are overrated. I always laugh when someone says for e.g. "I am Paul X.. Went to Harvard University". As long as anyone has fire in their belly.. give them a chance. They will surprise you.
