"And that's not from the Internet" used to be used similarly. Important to not reject an entire medium, but teach literacy within that medium. If something comes from NASA's YouTube channel: believable. Some rando with a camera: probably not.

I remember when I realized that: Adults lie, 5 yo TV lies, 7 yo Books lie, 9 yo Science lies, 13 yo For some reason, "adults lie" didn't propagate immediately to all other things made by adults.
