to me, maybe it´s not even "convincing", but getting to know the other person´s way of thinking, experiences, references. I can take a break between a statement, reflect, and then go on asking. That´s a bit easier here. You have time for better questions.

That's why I've always said why not just not make it unlimited and have the same number of characters passing by in the tweets so that the cosmetic is the same? By the way have you read Gilder's "Life After Google" What do you think about it?
