When I was a teenager you worked in fast food. A generation later you could write code and make much more. Will ambitious kids in the next generation reach adulthood already rich from trading cryptocurrency?

I'd like my kids to have at least one service industry or manual labor job before coding or trading in anything. Call it an entitlement prophylactic.

Yeah writing code for pay is (typically) vastly more beneficial to society than trading cryptocurrencies

My hope is that the kids born in the Hamptons might need to get a real job and be productive, instead of counting on an inheritance of real estate and stocks they expect to grow at 5-10% per year. BTC is just changing who can afford to be lazy

Even in seemingly zero sum games like trading there is a positive-sum side effect of creating liquidity for the greater ecosystem.

Learning the ins and outs of certain zero-sum games (like money) is fuel for the execution of your positive-sum ambitions.
