that assumes they can trade. If they can trade why not other assets ? why crypto? what is the barrier to trading today? regulations. Will that change in a generation? likely not

Not just crypto, they're doing it with sneakers + other exclusive/limited goods. Building bots + private groups for advantages (and making money from those too).

I think there is a category difference. Working in fast food or writing code for someone else means you're getting paid to add value to an existing business. Whereas trading cryptocurrency means you're a teenager competing with giant financial firms with more info/resources.
