The Blockheads were my first favourite band & I feel lucky to have been a kid when a diverse, anarchic, queer-coded (as they say now), musically adventurous & lyrically mischevious group were on TV & radio. Wilko was a latecomer to the band but he fitted in beautifully. RIP.
