Unsure how I feel about Resi 7 getting the Golden Joystick for Best VR Game. Don't get me wrong i'm super happy for the recipients, it's a good game and I appreciate what it has done for mainstream VR adoption. 1/2

They did for a while (2014-16) but it’s all about the clicks and if readers weren’t reading (clicking the headlines) the vr articles, why continue?

Oh yeah I understand this, hence my comment on metrics. Feels like we need a renewed push with more recent content, stuff that might capture the imagination of larger numbers. Hopefully they look for such content off the back of Skyrim etc.

Yeah I hope it expands the userbase. We need bigger known IPs to do that so that we can get back to building indies with a chance of better revenues for the increasingly risk adverse funding options
