Suggests to me we're not quite managing to shine a light on the great VR focussed content out there. At least in the eyes of the public (who vote in this case).
That said I'm pleased we have a VR category.

Unsure how I feel about Resi 7 getting the Golden Joystick for Best VR Game. Don't get me wrong i'm super happy for the recipients, it's a good game and I appreciate what it has done for mainstream VR adoption. 1/2

I guess they expect people with any VR experience to be able to objectively judge a game. Having talked to other users it's not hard to figure out that the subjective experience of the same content varies wildly, I think way more than for traditional flat games, objectivity hard.
