When people make a song and dance about diverse hiring it makes me wonder how much of it is self-serving performative white saviour complex and how much is genuine.

Actions speak louder than words, but the words are necessary. In my case I’d rather the people I work with answer the question, as they know the answer to this. But when I look in the mirror, I’m happy with what I see. Though maybe I could ditch a few pounds. ;)
