A big part in me trying to lead a healthier life style was understanding that I’m a morning person. It was useful to listen to my body and the dread felt when considering training after work. When I shift training to the morning I find motivation comes a little more easily.
I’m sure there’s some science to this, but this is admittedly somewhat anecdotal.

Me too. Sometimes I end up training in the evening, but I much prefer the morning. Not sure if related to higher motivation, but my performance seems to be better too. I find by the time I get to the evening my body (and mind?) wants to wind down, and feels easier to put off.

Also morning training just sets me up better for the rest of my day, and puts me in a better frame of mind.
