what do you think of this crazy idea an all-volunteer COMMERCIAL game project: we all work for free, but intend to sell commercially at a high price ($30). split profits equally by num hours worked: my hours have same value as yours would ANYONE join this risky a venture???

I'd like to do the formal experiment version. As in, get experienced verteran devs who don't need the project to pay their rent to work on it as a passion art thing: "retired super devs dream team style" not naive noob style (I'm an expert at that already)

My point is, that's still no different to any other indie games company - I don't really see what's experimental about it compared to any other indie dev studio beyond the profit-share (which is probably not unique either).

My experience of "veteran game dev dream team" setups is they all want $20M for 1 year's runway for a small handful of them in order to leave their larger jobs at AAA companies
