2) The problem is systemic - it’s not just one VC or one firm. Sure, this party was egregious, but the problem is the power dynamic in VC - that's why this sort of thing is possible. Sex parties are a symptom of the problem.

2b) VCs, don’t look at this and say “thank god it wasn’t us” or “it could never happen here”. It’s already happened here! Your lack of women GPs, your lack of investing in women, is how this shit happens. Address those root causes.

2c) The shitty conclusion is "we out this one firm and then the problem is solved". The right conclusion is "we need to reexamine our hiring and funding process top-to-bottom to be inclusive to women"

3) Journalists all know who the firm is, they just don't have it "on the record". Keep looking (and keep chasing down the other people mentioned), and get their statements! More people shed more light and lend more support to Jane Doe!
