So many opinions on 10x engineers. Wish y'all were as vocal when it came to inclusion in tech and pay inequality.

👀 And also...the article that starts all this thread () raises a ridiculously "obvious" way of incrementally rolling out DB changes. Read the whole thing but go to: "DB migrations" if you're impatient.

This is a must read - Paul is absolutely right about the mess we’re in. Dark is some bold thinking about how to get out. I don’t know if it’s going to work or not - but I’m 💯 here to find out. It’s tech venture at its best.

I am late sharing this link, but I needed time to do it justice. 🌷 The piece is called "How Dark Deploys In 50ms", by my dear, brilliant friend , the cofounder/CTO of who previously (this is important) cofounded .

The two most popular programming languages in the world both use structured editors. Excel and Scratch have 750m and 140m users, compared to ~80m other devs in the world. 🤔

I still haven't written my "how to find a cofounder" notes from two years ago that everyone asks me for, but a summary:

"Speed of developer iteration is the single most important factor in how quickly a technology company can move." ^ This is so, so, so true. Single greatest point of leverage for technology companies.

Speaking of "impossible things," when you write in , your code is deployed in <50ms.

I believe so strongly that we can do so much better than modern coding, and that designing for continuous delivery and 50ms deploys is a huge part of that.

With all this, removes dozens of steps from the process of releasing code
