IT isn't done just b/c businesses all have computers now. There's lots left to do for data collection, collaboration and process automation.

Software-as-a-Service sounds lame. It's really Technological-Leverage-as-a-Service. Soon, any company can get Whatsapp-level value/employee.

Automating people out of jobs isn't the real risk (yes, people might have to learn a few new things), it's tech progress being too slow.
