    I see it's 'should you tag authors in book reviews' discourse time again. I'd hope we all agree that it's uncalled for with negative reviews. I'm not sure there is a definitive answer re positive reviews, though. I wrote this during the previous discussion

    This is a really valid point and one I should have included here. The amount of money the Healy-Raes pump into election campaigns mean they are always the most visible candidates in the county.

    Paula - I think in commenting on the operation of the HRaes you have to mention the wealth they have to spend on elections - the county was pasted with posters, trucks, SUV's covered in their livery - there were reports of their staff cutting grass around their election signage!

    This is a reflection of a system designed to reward such chicanery btw, the electorates, be they Monaghan, Tipp or Kerry are no more stupid than anywhere else in the country

    All three " loads of money" county councillors featured in an RTÉ exposé look set to keep their seats. Two of them currently topping the poll 🇮🇪
