Twitter has taught humanity a crucial lesson. In a relatively anonymous (or at least highly artificial) environment, we are miserable SOBs to each other. We mock and provoke and feel righteous anger more than we compliment or compromise. It's truly ugly.

Well, I'm not looking for happy. I'm looking for constructive dialogue. I'm looking for engagement, instead of contempt. But, I'm willing to concede that I am a sensitive person : )

How very different our sensibilities are! I find it truly depressing. I mean, I like conflict. But I hate contempt and meaningless mockery. Debates are great. Snarky retweets are not.

I sense we're exactly alike in most ways other than big 5 agreeableness. And I'll point out that lowish agreeableness is likely an immutable personal quality you're criticizing. Politely though. ;-)
