Come on, your tweet was about the author's refusal to condemn adultery generally not in this specific instance. I actually do not believe that you think every person who commits an act of infidelity is a "disgrace of a human being" fwiw. That's just red meat you're tossing out.

In other words, I think that while someone is cheating they are a disgraceful person but that someone who has a fling, ends it and repents can very much redeem themselves, as with any fraud.

I think you might be amazed how many decent people you know personally have cheated at some point or another. People are complex, frail, weak, and affairs can occur for lots of reasons, some more understandable than others. I take it case by case.

Interrogating him and acting sorta sanctimonious because he doesn’t like cheating and thinks it predictably hurts ppl. You disagree, fine. This is a lot of effort for that.

Me and Jamie have a long history of interrogating each other's conservative and liberal principles so it's okay.

I appreciate the support! But sometimes I post a tweet and just *know* some people are going to argue with me about it.
