My kids liked Rear Window and North by Northwest but absolutely despised Vertigo. Something about the combo of general creepiness and the hero’s own moral descent turned them off.

North by Northwest blew me away when I first watched it as a kid on local broadcast TV with my parents and grandfather. The intervening years and technical developments were as nothing.

For whatever reason Spellbound was the one I absolutely loved as a middle schooler.
