    Reporters should frame the classroom debate as being about civil rights history rather than critical race theory. Doing so would offer a far more accurate and honest understanding of what is coming under attack.

    This bill — which has already passed the Texas Senate — would drastically reduce the coverage of civil rights history in the state’s classrooms.
