Everybody is always recommending books. New question! You get the power to erase one book from history so that no one will have read it. What book would you choose? (Curious what @tylercowen @patrickc @sknthla @danwwang would say and don't pick Mein Kampf, Das Capital, Dianetics)
In the last half century: Rules for Radicals? Silent Spring? I dunno, I feel like most bad things come from decay, poor incentives, etc rather than the influence of specific ideas.
