I can't even imagine being a theist, but have you been to Notre Dame cathedral? It was so beautiful I cried for an hour. Them ancient spiritual folks did some things darned well.

I have not been to Notre Dame; but I have been to York Minster. It was a major experience (although God was not particularly involved).https://yorkminster.org/home.html

I went with my wife, who went to services there every week as a kid, and sang in the choir. She became an atheist in her early teens by having a profound non-God experience while nearly dying in a car crash.

There was a service happening while we were there. None of the parishioners was under 75, and nearly none were male.

There were far more tourists—wandering around yakking loudly—than worshippers. I was highly offended on behalf of the religious people, despite having nearly opposite religious beliefs and practices.

Yeah, it was mostly tourists at Notre Dame and Sacre Coeur, even though services were happening. But I found the spaces so profound, nothing else mattered.
