1/ Ok, I agree that the line between good and evil falls exactly between "advertising for Jordan Peterson" and "advertising for Stefan Molyneux". BUT it's insane hypocrisy for the left to criticize the right for...recruiting from the desperate and suffering.https://twitter.com/MrHappyDieHappy/status/967027082537721856 …
I can show you many Communist Auschwitzes. Please consider that for my entire lifetime, people have worn Communist flags and Che shirts, and ***it has been treated as normal***. That is terrifying!!! I'm glad you're finally terrified too - I just wish your terror was bipartisan.pic.twitter.com/Bu1THf25Zm

I didn't ask you for Communist Auschwitzes: I know they're out there (and I find it pretty gross when people wear Che shirts). But your post that I was responding to was equating *feminism* with Naziism. For god's sake, Patri.

I see nothing in my post that equates feminism with Nazism. I made the abstract point that for a leftist to say "it's evil to target suffering people to recruit for your political cause" is hypocritical, since that's a core leftist methodology. How do you make that leap?
-
You claimed that the proper parallel to the alt-Right's "Jews and Mexicans and Blacks are responsible for your suffering" was the left's "..., the evil patriarchy, and privileged white males oppress you". That's directly asserting parallel status between Nazism and feminism.
-
I think it's perfectly reasonable for a political organization to make a case that its platform is beneficial to a given societal group. I think it's horrible for a hate group (they're Nazis, Patri) to target people with actual mental illness as recruits for their evil.
